Thank You

I really enjoyed this challenge for Peach Keen Stamps mainly because it is a sketch challenge using Kraft card stock and also because I had a digi kit that had a lot of elements in it that would suite the sketch without going else where. The kit entitled "A Touch of Country" was created by Sherri Tierney.

The Sketch

Wow it has been awhile since I created a card for this site. The challenge for this week is kind of a recipe.
Ingredients:
Make a card
Use the colors PINK AND BROWN as the main color scheme.
Use a stamped image (preferably Peachy Keen Stamp - but not required)
Incorporate a piece of ribbon
Use some type of glitter (stickles are fine!)

The glitter on the wings did not show as I would have like it to, however I do believe the challenge has been met. My card is complete.

Boy it seems like forever since I made a challenge card for PKS. This is a sketch challenge and you will find the sketch here.

This card was actually made from a two sided paper that I had scanned into my computer. The cute little bear image came from a free digi packet that I got from www.digiwebstudio.com. Enjoy...I hope! LOL

Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge 10

For this challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps
we were given a sketch to interpret. I just
did one similar to this for another challenge.
I did not want to use the same one because it
is so much fun coming up with ideas.

When I looked at the sketch I thought of window
panes and decided to go with that idea. I have
yet to do my Christmas card and thought this
would be an ideal challenge.

I found a Christmasy image on the net and went
with it. Using Psp I developed a window pane,
drapes, and snow. Put it all together and came
up with the image below.

I went through an old wallpaper book that I
have and scan some of them into my computer. I
saw this boarder and knew it would be perfect for
the card. I added the border and the two wallpapers
that matched into PSP. One of the wallpapers I
texturized with a weave plugin and came up with
the background image and I also used it to make
the buttons. Pretty cool don't cha think!
