Happy Birthday Jess

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is all but over...back to what I do best...CREATE!!! I decided to combine this challenge with a card for my daughter's 27th birthday, which is today. Happy birthday my dear daughter.

When I saw the sketch from Friday Sketch it just screamed snow globe. I made this shaker card for the following challenges:

Lets start with the image...when I first acquired it there wasn't any blue on it at all...it was mostly red and green. Using the colorizer in PSP I change the image to the colors that I needed, blue of course. The background paper was created using a snowflake texture that I created also using PSP. The lace frame was provided in the picture/frame tool also in PSP. The ribbon came from a digi stash that I already had, it was actually trimmed in green and red and as you can see I changed it to blue. The boggle was created as well using PSP. Looks pretty good for a digital card don't you think? This one will get printed off at a printer and the lace flower will be added.

Happy Friday all! Today is another double day. My entry is for two challenges:
Friday Sketchers...a sketch of course
Stamp Something...digi, whether it be paper, image, or embellishment

Well as you all know I create my cards using PSP which is a digital art program. Everything is digi. I used 6 different digi papers on this card, a digi ribbon, and 3 digi buttons which I created in PSP. The layout is from the sketch challenge.

I created this card for Friday Sketchers challenge using digi papers from SummerDriggs collection "Happiness"...you can find a link to her sight on the left. Her papers and digi kits are free as a download. The image was sent to me by a friend. The pearls came from a PSP Tube with in the program. Below is an image of the sketch from for the challenge.

When my daughter wasn't being a Drama Queen she had her nose stuck in a book and still does when she has the time. Hey maybe that is where all the drama came from...who knows...LOL

Jess would pick-up a book and had it read before I would even get to the second chapter. Dang I wish I could read like that. Even if the book is good it takes me a couple of days.

Double Challenge

This card represents two challenges, Stamp Something and Friday Sketchers. Stamp Something challenge is Cute and Fuzzy Something. You are to use something cute and fuzzy on the card...I choose the image of the kitten in the flower pot. For Friday Sketchers you will find the sketch here.

This sketch has 7 layers to it and of course I wanted the elements used to coordinate so I decided to use the digi packet I download last night. I think the papers in the packet are great which made my card awesome well at least to me. LOL

Stamp Something - Favorite Sketch and Friday Sketchers

I am running a little behind with my card challenges. :( This card is covering two challenges Stamp Something and Friday Sketchers. For Stamp Something you are to use your favorite sketch or layout and for Friday Sketchers we are given a sketch to follow.

I had an image of a little boy that I wanted to use so I decided to make the card a little masculine. I used the given sketch from Friday Sketchers to cover the challenge for Stamp Something. Both challenges have been met...my card is done.

Friday Sketchers and Simmon Says Stamp

Today is Friday and it is time for a new sketch over at Friday Sketchers, but you know what I think this card is good enough to use for Simmon Says Stamp Challenge as well.

Over at Simon Says it is a recipe challenge and the ingredients are as follows: Use 3 embellishments, 2 papers, and 1 image. I have an elements packet that I download from http://nkdigitalart.blogspot.com that I think will do nicely. The image is a faerie stamp that I received as a prize for best card in a challenge from Faerie Song Artist Stamps Group over at PCP.

The card has the sketch as it's base and all the ingredients from the recipe. I do believe the challenges have been met and the card is done.
