As you all know I am a digital fanatic. I use Paint Shop Pro as a tool for my card making. My paper is digital as well as everything else. The other day I came across a product called Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 by Serif, which also can be used for card making. Well this is my review of the product.
I download this product from Amazon at the price of $23.00 on sale ($49.00) last week. I have used other digital scrapbook software but I always seem to come back to PSP mainly because I know the program better and the other programs lacked a lot of the features I use to make my cards.
The interface was a little confusing but with some time and playing around, which is how I learned PSP, I got the hang of it. I found that this product had a lot of valuable features such as the stitches that can be painted on. I always had a problem adding stitches using PSP and for those stitches to look real. I also liked the feature where you can see everything you want to add to the card on the interface. My favorite is the fact that I can import the digi kits that I already have.
I could go on and on about this product because I really liked it, but I think the easiest way for you to check it out is to download the free version offered by Serif. If you have never used a digital scrapbook program this is an excellent one to start with, it's free.
As I have said in the past digital scrap booking saves you money and time....and it is so much fun. At this point I think the only thing this program is lacking is the fact that I can not color my digi stamps within the program, but I can paint them in PSP and copy and paste them into Digital Scrapbook Artist 2. I give this product 2 thumbs up!
If you do decide to try the program I would be very interested to see what you think of it. Please post your opinion!
